Одни английские эквиваленты относятся к денежным расчетам, другие, как и русский глагол торговаться, могут обозначать попытки добиться более, выгодных условий, относящихся к разным сферам деятельности.1. to bargain — торговаться, рядиться, договариваться, допиваться уступки, спорить из-за цены, спорить по поводу цены (в отличие от глагола to haggle не ограничен ситуациями купли-продажи и используется с широким кругом существительных, по поводу которых стороны пытаются договориться или найти общий язык): to bargain over/about the price (discount, terms, guarantee period) — спорить из-за цены (скидки, условий, гарантийного срока)/спорить по поводу цены (скидки, условий, гарантийного срока); to bargain with smb — торговаться с кем-либо; to bargain with smb for/over smth. — торговаться с кем-либо по поводу чего-либо/добиваться у кого-либо чего-либо; to bargain for fish (for milk) — торговаться о цене рыбы (молока); to bargain for better conditions —добиваться лучших условий; to bargain for a better/higher pay — добиваться более высокой оплаты I hate bargaining! — Терпеть не могу торговаться!
